WINGS OF BEA METALFEST WELCOMES ELFERYA

NEW DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION
The deadline to send your applications to Marathon Rock “Wings of Bea Metalfest” 2014 has been extended to February 15th.
The bands that would like to be considered for the 2014 edition have to send an e-mail to maurobedon [at] yahoo.it with the following data:
band name / city of origin / gender / number of components / website / facebook page / contacts, including 2 mp3 files and one / two links to youtube videos (video and / or concert).
The bands selected will be contacted by the end of February 2014.

From 2014 Maratona Rock renewed itself! To strengthen the Metal spirit of this annual event and to highlight the reason that gave birth to this festival, from this year the event has a new name: Wings of Bea Metalfest!

CALL FOR BANDS
The MaratonaRock 2014 program is under definition; do you want to contribute to this event with your rock band? If so we will be pleased to listen to your songs.
Please send your canditation following these instructions with your data (band-name/location/genre/number of players) and web-links (web-site/facebook page/MySpace page/youtube links with your songs/etc…).
Candidation are accepted up to the end of January. Band selection will be run during February. Program of the event to be published by beginning of March. HURRY WITH YOUR CANDIDATION!!!

MaratonaRock History
Maratona Rock is a free entrance Rock & Heavy Metal festival, taking place every year in Santhià (VC), North Italy.
The festival was born in 2009, to commemorate the memory of Bea (Beatrice Bedon), a teenager from Santhià who left in 2008 in a tragic motorbike crash. The festival is organized by Bea’s parents and a large group of their friends to remember Bea through Heavy Metal, the music she loved.
Year after year Maratona Rock has grown up: started as a one day concert of local bands, during the last two years it became a 3 days open air festival, featuring Italian and Internation bands like Folkstone, Mpire of Evil, Chrome Divisions as headliners.
Maratona Rock is a 100% free event, financed by the Associazione xBea and few sponsors and with the services offered during the festival, like catering & merchandising.
Maratona Rock is connected with the Association “xBea” (forBea), a no profit organization that promotes many charity events focused to the young.The Association xBea has promoted in October 2012 the MaratonaRock for Finale Emilia, a special event to help Italian people from Emilia Romagna, a region recently strongly struck by earthquake.
We are now running the organization of the MaratonaRock 2014 edition. Help us to make this beneficial live show bigger and stronger, in memory of Bea. Like this page on Facebook page and keep the metal flame alive!
2014 event will be held on the great open-air Zapelloni Plaza in Santhià and is free-entry.
